UniquelyMe measures your health and wellness with five biomarkers and then tells you what it means.

Estradiol
Estradiol, produced by the ovaries, is the primary form of estrogen. It is one of the primary sex hormones responsible for ovulation, which is crucial to reproductive health and pregnancy in individuals who can conceive. Following menopause, estradiol levels significantly decrease. Estradiol also contributes to the development of bones and female-associated secondary sex characteristics. Furthermore, it plays an important role in the optimal functioning of the brain and reproductive system.
Progesterone
Progesterone plays a crucial role in supporting pregnancy and maintaining the endometrium, which is the lining of the uterus. However, as individuals enter menopause and ovarian function declines, the production of progesterone significantly decreases.
Testosterone
The majority of testosterone is produced by the ovaries, while a small amount is generated by the adrenal glands. Aromatase, an enzyme, converts a significant portion of this testosterone to estrogen. Total testosterone is composed of both free testosterone, which is not bound to proteins, and testosterone that is bound to proteins (like albumin and sex hormone-binding globulin) in the blood. Despite being commonly known as the primary male sex hormone, testosterone is essential for bone density, libido, body fat distribution, and supporting muscle mass
DHEA
DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is an androgen hormone primarily produced by the adrenal glands, with a small amount also produced by the ovaries. It serves as a precursor to other hormones in the body, including testosterone and estrogen. The majority of DHEA in the blood is attached to a sulfate group and referred to as DHEA-S, which is the form measuredin this test.
Cortisol
The adrenal glands produce cortisol, which is released in response to stressors such as illness and exercise. While often referred to as the body’s “stress hormone,” cortisol performs several functions, including regulating energy metabolism and controlling blood sugar levels. Cortisol levels typically peak in the morning and are lowest during the night for most individuals.

What to know

01
UNLOCKING THE POWER OF A FULL PICTURE LAB RESULT
Why collecting symptoms, and medical history matter.
Do you ever feel like your lab test results don’t tell the whole story? If so, you’re not alone. But did you know
that understanding your age, symptoms, and medical history can provide important clues that help healthcare providers interpret and understand your lab results? By taking a more holistic approach to testing, you can unlock the power of complete lab results and get a clearer picture of your overall health. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, trying to diagnose a new health concern, or simply interested in optimizing your wellness, understanding the context behind your lab results is key. Discover how knowing your age, symptoms, and medical history can help you get more out of your lab tests, and take control of your health today.
02
WHEN TO TEST
Your private account will provide assistance in selecting the right day to take the test.
Your private account helps determine the appropriate day for testing to ensure precise results. It takes into account the individual’s menstrual cycle and recommends collecting the saliva sample seven days before their expected period. For those with a 28-day cycle, the application suggests taking the test on day 21 to confirm ovulation. To ensure accuracy, the sample should be collected before 10am on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday and returned on the same day. The application may advise waiting until day 21 of the menstrual cycle falls on one of these days. However, individuals with irregular menstrual cycles or who have taken hormonal contraceptives in the last three months may experience affected results. It’s crucial to avoid hormonal contraception when taking the test to prevent inaccurate outcomes. Please note that this test may not be appropriate for individuals with irregular menstrual cycles or those who have been on hormonal contraceptives within the last three months. The application considers all of these factors to ensure that the testing day is appropriate for accurate results.
03
HOW OFTEN IS TESTING REQUIRED
How often you should undergo lab testing with the UniquelyMe service is based on your
intended usage. If you wish to keep track of your hormone levels or pursue a complete
hormone balancing treatment your personal account will notify you through a digital
care coordinator about when to take the tests based on your individual needs.
For those seeking Smart HRT, lab testing is conducted at the beginning to establish a baseline hormone level. Your healthcare provider may then adjust the HRT dosage and monitor the individual’s response to the treatment through follow-up lab tests. The frequency of lab testing may change during the course of treatment, but it is generally advised to conduct follow-up testing every three to six months. This time interval enables healthcare providers to monitor hormone levels and adjust the HRT dosage if needed. After symptoms have subsided, lab tests typically occur annually for check-ups.
04
WHO SHOULD TAKE A FIVE PANEL HORMONE TEST
What are the common reasons why women choose to take a 5-panel hormone test?
- Women looking to record baseline hormone levels for future reference.
- Women between the ages of 45 and 55 looking for a health checkup.
- Women who want to evaluate hormone levels.
- Women who are experiencing symptoms of menopause.
05
