To ensure accurate results, the saliva sample should be collected 7 days before the expected period, taking into consideration the individual’s menstrual cycle. For those with a 28-day period, the test should be taken on day 21 to confirm ovulation. Collection of the sample should be done before 10am on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, with the sample returned on the same day. It may be necessary to wait until day 21 of the menstrual cycle falls on one of these days. Individuals with irregular menstrual cycles or who have taken hormonal contraceptives within the last three months may have their results affected. It is important to avoid hormonal contraception when taking the test as it may lead to inaccurate results. Please note that this test may not be suitable for individuals with irregular menstrual cycles or those who have been on hormonal contraceptives within the last three months.
